Bob D’Arcy was just 22 years old and fresh out of the US Army when his father told him of a potential job opening at a new concept in entertainment called Disneyland. Shortly after returning from his post in Alaska to the family home in Southern California, Bob’s first stateside job was delivering blueprints to contractors throughout the new theme park’s construction site…in Walt Disney’s own Jeep.
