Dan Noonan, a cartoonist and illustrator with long experience in animation and comic-book work, is the creator of many memorable stories and characters for comics. He, Johnny Gruelle, Walt Kelly, and John Stanley accounted for much of Dell’s finest work. Besides drawing and writing for comics, his career includes several prolific years with the Disney Studio, freelance magazine illustration, and current cartoon shows for television. On January 11, 1968, Bill Spicer and Vince Davis visited Dan Noonan at his home and taped the following interview. The excerpt below deals with his Disney career.
