Robert L. Wilson
Bob Thomas

Little is known about Robert Wilson. Until at least 1994 he was still working as Vice President and Treasurer of Walt Disney’s personal company, Retlaw.

Bob Wilson: I started with the company in 1968, and as a junior accountant I worked for, at that time, Mickey Clark and Bill Cottrell. Later I spent a fair amount of time with Bill Cottrell working at the name-use agreement which was really one of the fundamental agreements that started Walt Disney Incorporated, that later became WED Enterprises. I think we generally used the date of April 1953 as the real beginning in operation of WED, but technically it may have been incorporated in December of ’52, but it didn’t begin until 1953.
