Ken O’Connor, Australian by birth, was a Disney layout artist par excellence for three-plus decades, working on thirteen animated features as art director or layout artist, and seven times that many shorts. Ken also a long-time teacher at Cal Arts. When we talked the last day of April 1978, we focused on his work on “Pinocchio”. Ken started at Disney in 1935 and retired in 1978.
