Contractors and Engineers, #71.10, 1974-10,p. 11,EN

Location: Disney World's "Space Mountain".
Loads: Prestressed roof sections, 116 feet long, 75-tons per section.
Reach: Substantial height and radius, as photo shows.
Tricky: Mid-air hook-up with derrick, to tilt roof spans into final position.
Mobility: Crane had to encircle entire job for succession of lifts…. plus working within perimeter of building.
The Crane: Standard 9299 AMERICAN with exclusive Sky Horse auxiliary counterweight another hard-working idea from AMERICAN HOIST, 63 S. Robert Street, St. Paul, Minn. 55107.
