Master puppeteer Bob Jones joined Disney in 1937. According to The E-Ticket, “Bob was still in his early twenties when he started as a production cameraman in the Disney Camera Department.” He was one of the eight people who captured on film the animation cels for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Later, having joined Joe Grant’s Model Department and after talking with him and Walt Disney, Bob was able to establish the sculpting process and produce the models that, in turn, helped shape dimensional scenes in the classic animated films.
