Bewitching
Jim Fanning

Long before Harry Potter enrolled in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, there was Miss Eglantine Price, dedicated pupil of the Emelius Browne Correspondence College of Witchcraft. The magical misadventures of this would-be witch are chronicled in Disney's dazzling musical fantasy Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Played by Disney Legend Angela Lansbury, Miss Price reluctantly teams up with three young Cockney evacuees and conman Emelius Browne — portrayed by Disney favorite David Tomlinson — to embark on an incredible odyssey in search of a lost spell that can save England from invasion during the early days of World War II. Combining live action with animation and brought to life by the team that created Mary Poppins, this Oscar-winning film is more magical than ever on Disney DVD.

Walt Disney's virtuoso songwriters Robert (left) and Richard Sherman (right) – posing with Angela Lansbury and Richard Tomlinson – composed the songs for Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Including the Oscar-nominated "The Age of Not Believing."

Before she was the voice of Mrs. Pottsin Beauty and the Beast, Tony-Award winning, Oscar-nominated Angela Lansbury cast a bewitching spell as Miss Price in Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
