Voice Artist Lisa Davis recalls Walt Disney and lots of Dalmatians.

The creation of a Disney animated film is a labor of love filled with creativity, ingenuity, and an innovative spirit. No one knows this better than Lisa Davis, the veteran film and television actress cast by Walt Disney as the voice of Anita in 101 Dalmatians. Walt and Lisa actually met years before, so their collaboration on 101 Dalmatians seemed destined early in Lisa's life.

Born into a vaudeville family in London, Lisa started acting at the age of 5 and starred in several movies in England. The young girl’s charming performance and long blonde locks in one of the films caught the eye of Walt Disney. Soon. Lisa found herself at the Walt Disney Studios auditioning for the role of Alice in Walt’s planned live-action/animation version of Alice in Wonderland.
