Many elements are necessary to have a successful woody test program. These include defining objectives, docu menting results, and overall supervision of the program. Using these objectives enables different woody species to be tested and evaluated at the Walt Disney World Nursery.
The woody plant trials are an integral part of our hor ticulture program at Walt Disney World. We need woody plants to be tried and evaluated that are relatively new or under used in the central Florida area. We have been suc cessful in this program by documenting our evaluations in a way that can be retrieved by the growers, supervisors, and interested industry professionals.
