Joe Grant
Mike Lyons
One of the most spectacular projects to come out of the Disney Studio in the recent years is a beautiful short that blends 3D and 2D animation in the most skilful way ever achieved. What makes this short, Lorenzo, even more special is the fact that the idea behind its creation came from one of Disney’s “old timers,” Disney Legend Joe Grant, one of the artists who, like John Hench and Mel Shaw, worked at Disney in both the first and second Golden Ages of the Company, in the ’30s and the late ’80s.
