Alice Kingsleigh (Mia Wasikowska) returns to the magical world of Underland to encounter strange creatures and phantasmagorical realms old and new. Director James Bobin continues the journey that producer Tim Burton and screenwriter Linda Woolverton began in their previous exploration of Lewis Carroll's fantasy classic, assisted by visual effects supervisor Ken Ralston and artisans at Sony Pictures Imageworks and Double Negative. Special effects supervisor Neil Corbould and makeup effects supervisor Matthew Smith provided practical effects. Legend3D, Prime Focus World, Gener8 provided stereoscopic effects.
