Bringing Bambi to the Screen

Knowing the ins and outs of such matters is the task of the artists in Walt Disney’s studios. How much these talented men have to know about our animal friends is vividly illustrated in Disney’s latest full-length picture based on Felix Salten’s memorable romance of the forest, Bambi. Although animals have always been an important part of the charm of Disney films, the producer himself feels that the animals of Bambi represent the highest achievement of this staff.
