The following essay tells about one of the many unsung heroes of Disney animation and comic art. Riley Thomson belonged to the second generation of Disney animators, but for different reasons he didn’t make it to be as famous as others, one of the reasons being that he died too young. So here is all I was able to put together about this artist who had a very personal, recognizable style. He deserves our attention, I believe
