Author: Michael Broggie, Walt's People: Volume 18 - Talking Disney with the Artists Who Knew Him, Volume 18, 2005-01-26, Chapter 19,pp. 225-234,EN
The work of Disney’s inkers, painters, and checkers is very seldom discussed in history books.
Barbara Palmer joined the Disney Studio in 1942 and left four years later. In the meantime, she married Disney movie editor Stormy Palmer. She came back to Disney in the mid-’70s to work again as a painter on Pete’s Dragon and on several Disney movies until the mid-’80s, which gives her a unique perspective on the changes that took place at the studio from the “war years” to the “dawn of the new golden age”.
