The Duck Man
An interview with Carl Barks
Don Ault, Tom Andrae

An interview videotaped on 1975, August 4. According to a Bruce Hamilton advertisement, Barks has said about this video in 1994: "This work has been produced with my approval and is the only detailed, comprehensive video interview that has been conducted with me to date."

The video documentary is over 90 minutes long, it contains a plethora of Barks photos, and Disney and non-Disney art and paintings. It also includes the only video footage of Barks drawing one of his characters, in this case Uncle Scrooge. Contains rare footage of Carl in his studio explaining step-by-step how he did his paintings from pencil rough to finished product (the sound quality is fair in this segment). Barks describes his life, artisitc influences, work at the Disney studio and the origins of his most famous characters and stories.
