The New York World’s Fair closed its first season on October 18. It will be open again next year from April 21 through October 17, and Walt Disney will present a new and improved figure of Abraham Lincoln to star in the production, “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln,” at the Illinois Land of Lincoln Pavilion.

The Lincolniana Notes section of the Autumn issue of this journal presented the text of “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.” Since then there have been requests for more information about the production and its background. This has been obtained through Ralph C. Newman, chairman of the Illinois Commission on the New York World’s Fair, Lincoln authority, and a past president of the Illinois State Historical Society.
